Join us for the next quarterly Atlanta Regional Housing Forum as we explore how recent federal changes are reshaping the affordable housing landscape in Metro Atlanta. This timely conversation will examine how updates in federal housing policy, funding levels, and staffing are influencing both housing development and critical services in our region.

The forum begins with a national-level policy update on budgetary shifts, staffing changes, and key legislative developments affecting HUD programs, LIHTC, homelessness initiatives, and more. This segment sets the stage for two in-depth panel discussions.

Our first panel, Services Impact & Response, will focus on how these federal changes are affecting local housing authorities, homelessness service providers, and nonprofit agencies. Panelists will share how their organizations are adapting, where challenges persist, and which strategies show promise in mitigating harm and continuing to serve those in need.

The second panel, Development Impact & Response, will explore the implications of federal changes on housing production—particularly within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Topics will include the future of 4% credits, permanent funding for key provisions, and the outlook from developers, state allocators, and private investors navigating this evolving landscape.

Throughout the forum, we’ll make space for audience questions, conversation, and shared learning. Whether you work in housing policy, development, service delivery, or advocacy, our hope is that this forum will offer essential insights and practical takeaways for keeping affordable housing efforts on track during uncertain times.

Our panelists and presenters will be announced soon. We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation.
